Bio

I was born in Pensacola, Florida.  However I have lived most of my life in Jacksonville.  My father was a pilot in the Marine Corps so we bounced around quite a bit.  Altogether I attended a total of eight different schools!

I have two children; Ashleigh, age 25 and Courtney, age 22.  Ashleigh is a graduate of Richlands High School.  She is mom to Mason (five) and Jaxon (7 months).  Courtney has recently graduated from Liberty University and is working locally as a Mental Health Care Provider.  Through the years, we have spent much time on soccer and softball fields.  I really miss that family time as my girls have become older.  But I am suspicious that Mason  and Jaxon will be heading that way soon.

Other than the ball field, I would rather be on the beach with a good book! My favorite Christian Fiction author is Lynn Austin.  My favorite classic author is Jane Austen.  My favorite genre is historical fiction.  I love books and music from many genres and would love to pass that along to my students.

We have been members of Harris Creek Missionary Baptist Church for twenty years.   We enjoy participation in many church activities and events.
